Dear fellow members of the Association of Shelter Veterinarians,

Planning for the VMX 2018 Conference in Orlando (formerly called NAVC) is well underway, and the ASV will again be hosting a CE track filled with practical, relevant topics in shelter medicine. Once again, we have been invited to plan asession of clinically relevant research abstracts. These have been popular sessions, and we look forward to offering them again!

Now it’s your chance to show us what you’ve been working on! Imagine it – you presenting your hard work to your shelter medicine colleagues at a major conference with international attendance!

If your interest is piqued, see below for more information:

* Abstract submissions are due by December 1, 2017.

* All submissions must be made using the attached Abstract Submission Form, following the guidelines on the form. Completed forms should be e-mailed to info@sheltervet.org.

* You must be an active member of the ASV to be considered.

* Three abstracts will be chosen, and each presenter will have 15 minutes to present their material.

* Abstracts must be immediately clinically relevant to shelter medicine.

Abstracts will be reviewed and selected by members of the ASV Continuing Education committee based on clinical relevance to shelter medicine practice. Selected presenters will be notified by December 14, 2017.

Please let me know if you have any questions – we look forward to reviewing your submissions!
